Downtown Music at Grace Free Concert: Wednesday, April 24, 12:00 to 1:00 PM: A WQXR Encore at Grace – Harmonica Virtuoso Robert Bonfiglio

A WQXR Encore at Grace – Harmonica virtuoso Robert Bonfiglio has shown the world what power there is in this little instrument, what possibilities there are for an almost infinite range of expressivity from a range of only about four octaves. Heralded by the Los Angeles Times as “the Paganini of the harmonica” he has soloed with over 200 Orchestras including the Minnesota Orchestra, the Pittsburgh Symphony, and the Boston Pops. Prompted by Bob Sherman, Mr. Bonfiglio will demonstrate various harmonica styles and techniques then bring a sparkling variety of short pieces to this special concert. A short audience Q and A session follows the program. A Downtown Music debut.
