Epiphanies – Ruth Cunningham & Gilda Lyons, voice. A collaboration by artists of distinct musical backgrounds, Epiphanies is a celebration of the ancient and the contemporary. Ruth Cunningham – a founding member of Anonymous 4, known for her work as sound-healer, improviser, and early-music specialist, and Gilda Lyons — commissioner, performer, and champion of new works, partner on a program inspired by the artists’ shared commitment to honest vocal performance, the exploration of the spiritual, and direct communication through sound. Presented in partnership with The Phoenix Concerts. A Downtown Music debut. Free Admission.
