DOUBLE-Take – An exhibit of Paintings and Photographs
Brother and sister, sharing a common genetic sensibility, present works in masterful black and white photographs translated into full color oil paintings. The subject matter and composition dictated by the photographic images resonate with the beautiful artistic color interpretations.
Born of 2 artistic parents, Dianne Dilmaghani Aronian and Dennis Dilmaghani kept their own talents at bay while pursuing real world careers in medicine and business. In more recent years, their sublimated passions have surfaced and combined to make this interesting and unique exhibit of photographs and paintings depicting the same subjects.

Dennis Dilmaghani bio:
Seeing a photographic image magically appear in the developing tray hooked Dennis Dilmaghani, then a teenager, into a lifelong avocation. Famous photographers Stieglitz, Strand, Weston, Adams, Caponigro and numerous others, provided inspiration and appreciation for photography as an artistic form of expression. Dilmaghani was a student of Ansel Adams and, over the years, other accomplished photographers. Originally trained in analog (film) photography, Dilmaghani is also proficient in digital photography and often combines both processes in his work. He is best known for his classic black and white images and exhibits frequently in solo and group shows. His work is in private, corporate and museum collections.
