Donald Harrison Quartet

More than a brilliant alto saxophonist, composer and bandleader, NEA Jazz Master Donald Harrison has a dizzying array of accomplishments, including being a New Orleans cultural beacon as Big Chief of Congo Square, merging modern jazz with Second Line music and hip-hop, nurturing young talent like his mentor Art Blakey and TV acting.

His latest venture is Magic Touch, recording stylistic variations of the same melody as they would have sounded during numerous jazz eras.
