Venezia La Serenissima, i.e. Venice, the most serene of earthly cities. From San Marco to Rialto, from the Grand Canal to the ghetto, beyond the city’s internal waterways to the artisan workshop islands of Murano and Burano, we will fully explore the novel experience of life in an ancient aquatic city detached from the realities of the mainland and a more modern world. This extraordinary jewel of a city resembles a multi-faceted museum, time capsule and carnival all-in-one, certain to excite, enchant and enrich its visitors from terra firma. As Venice celebrates its annual splendid and spirited Carnevale, you are cordially invited to join us – with or without la maschera – for the opening reception featuring some of the most delicious traditional culinary delights of Carnevale, in a celebration of Italy’s Queen City of the Seas.
Must register in advance and prepay.
