Developing Your Young Adult/Middle Grade Fiction with Tina Tocco Via Zoom

Developing Your YA/MG Fiction

Ready to take your young adult/middle grade writing to the next level? Maybe you’re trying to polish your novel or complete that short story you’ve been stuck on. This workshop will help you get feedback on your work-in-progress from writers who, like you, love writing for kids.

Come with your current project, and be prepared to have fun—and work!—in a supportive atmosphere. We’ll also talk about the revision process, analyze published short stories and/or novel excerpts, swap book recommendations, give each other tips and hints, and do some writing prompts (if time permits). This workshop is for any MG/YA writer with a work-in-progress, whether you’re looking to publish, want to finish a story for your grandkids, etc. Geared toward writing for middle grade (ages 8-12) and young adult (ages 13-18).

This class series will meet for six Wednesdays from July 12 – August 16 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. It will be taught via Zoom. The Zoom link will be emailed the day before the class series begins.
