David Parmley & Cardinal Tradition

Traditional but not at all predictable, this talented veteran band breathes new life into old favorites with an easy-going yet energetic performance style that gets the whole house moving. David Parmley and his late father Don founded the Bluegrass Cardinals in 1974, and toured for nearly two decades. One of the hallmarks of this great band was David‘s distinctive, warm and soulful voice, which distinguished him as one of the finest lead singers in bluegrass. His current band, David Parmley & Cardinal Tradition, includes consummate veteran musicians who collectively represent over 180 years of bluegrass experience.
