Dance Off the Grid: OTG

Each evening of this “eclectic performance series” (The New Yorker) will feature four separate world-class performances surveying the diversity of today’s dance landscape, followed by a conversation among the artists about the inspirations behind each work. Whether you’re a novice or an aficionado, there’s no better way to sample the full range of modern dance forms; each night of Dance Off the Grid, you get the value of four top-quality shows in a single presentation, plus a unique chance to hear the leading choreographers and performers of our time talk frankly and openly about how they create and think about their work.

The pieces are selected and discussions are led by the renowned critic and author Valerie Gladstone. These showpieces range from ballet to modern to puppetry to everything in between, consisting of only the absolute best from performers at the peak of the profession and the height of their skills. The previous incarnation of the series, Dance Under the Influence, has drawn sold-out crowds at the Museum of Arts and Design in New York since its inaugural season. Its arrival in the heart of Westchester is a historic cultural event that will be remembered as a landmark.
