Dance Off The Grid: Live Music

The “eclectic performance series” (The New Yorker), now in its fifth season at the Emelin, provides a rare opportunity to see multiple world-class performances by companies redefining the art form. The season finale of Dance Off The Grid will feature live music accompanying the dancers on stage. The program includes Felipe Galganni, the tap dancer, teacher, and choreographer known for blending the American art form of tap dance with his Brazilian roots; the very talented Spanish/Flamenco and Latin dancer Nélida Tirado; and the emotional, highly visceral choreography of Gaspard & Dancers.
