Curator’s Tour of Through Our Eyes

Join Kress Interpretive Fellow Christian Stegall on a tour of this historic exhibition, which features images and material culture contributed by the Yonkers African American community, and learn about the rich and complex history of the city.

Through Our Eyes showcases more than 100 years of photographs and objects donated by African Americans whose significant public achievements and poignant personal moments that have helped to make Yonkers the vibrant city that it is today.
