Creativity Club meets for six sessions of discovery, experimentation, and art making inspired by the artistic rugs on view in KMA’s Current exhibition. Sign up for one or all!
7/13: Creative Nature: Enjoy a nature walk and use natural materials for beautiful stick looms, leaf printing, and nature patterns.
7/20: Upcycled Weaving: Unexpected materials take on a new life in surprising weaving projects.
7/27: Make a Rug: Bring discarded fabrics and clothing to make a spectacular hand-made rug.
8/3: Artistic Weaving: Enjoy multiple creative woven projects using yarn, fabric, words, and other materials.
8/10: Woven Paper Creations: Create painted, patterned, and marbled papers to use in paper weaving projects.
8/17: Mixed-Media Pattern: Explore pattern through unique printing, collage, and drawing projects.
