Concerts In the Park- Broadway on the Sound

A family-friendly celebration of musical theatre for audience members of all ages. Produced and hosted by New York Casting Director Stephen DeAngelis, five of Broadway’s finest vocalists will illuminate the stage with songs from classic and contemporary musicals based on timeless children’s stories and animated films.

Scheduled performers are Todd Buonopane (Chicago; Grease; Rodgers + Hammerstein’s Cinderella; The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee), Teal Wicks(Elphaba in Wicked;  The Cher Show; Jekyll & Hyde; Finding Neverland, Kissy Simmons (Nala in The Lion King), Jelani Remy (Simba in The Lion King) and Sara Jean Ford (The Phantom of the Opera; Cats; How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, and  Finians’s Rainbow). Musical Director/Accompanist will be Eugene Gwozdz.

The evening will include musical selections from Frozen; Aladdin; Wicked; The Sound of Music; Annie; Mary Poppins; The Little Mermaid; The King and I; Beauty and the Beast; Peter Pan; The Lion King; The Wiz; Tarzan;  and more!!!

A perfect way to introduce younger audience members to the stage and to create and share new memories.
