Concert: Saints and Sinners

Good and evil in musical combat! All of our favorite sins – envy, wrath, vanity, lechery, gluttony, sloth, and greed – will be vanquished, we hope, by many more virtues! This zany, entertaining concert features the New York Premiere of legendary and wildly-imaginative composer William Albright’s “The Seven Deadly Sins,” as well as beloved baritone James Martin in songs about humility, saintliness, rectitude, and purity by American masters Samuel Barber, Ned Rorem, Aaron Copland, and others.
