Concert: Celtic Music

In this new solo program, singer and piper Peter Walker explores the traditional music of Scotland.  Included are selections from ancient ballads, lute books and the Highland Bagpipe, as well as the works of Robert Burns and modern masters Dougie MacLean, Gordon Duncan, and Archie  Fisher.  Walker performs with numerous folk, early music and classical groups, and has been praised for his “rich voiced” and “vivid” singing.
