Comedy From Scratch at The Idea Kitchen Larchmont NY Westchester Stand-Up Elon Altman & Kunal Aurora

Comedy From Scratch is where you go in Westchester County to hear top comics from TV and NYC’s major clubs performing long sets on an intimate stage. Past performers include comedians from HBO, Netlfix, Colbert, SNL, the Daily Show, Letterman, the Tonight Show, Comedy Central, and more. Every month, Ben Asher’s presents comedy that reaches up into your brain with the force of a fist through the nose.

Every month you can hear some of the most talented comics perform long sets, that other shows don’t give them the time to perform. Comedy From Scratch is your chance to get to really watch comedians flex their muscles and hit their stride on stage, at The Idea Kitchen.

Locally-grown comedian Ben Asher presents a tasting of what the area’s best stand-up comics are cooking up, at ‘Comedy From Scratch’ at the Idea Kitchen, every 4th Saturday of the month.

Show at 8:00 PM. Seating at 7:00 PM (bring your food and drink/wine with you and sit down at our tables to eat before the show and pick out your seats!!)

Admission is $25 in advance, and $30 if purchased the day of the show. (Unlike Comedy Clubs, There is NO 2-Drink Minimum at this show)(and there is Free Parking.) BYOB and your own food/snacks/pizza (Half-Time and Sal’s Pizza in Mamaroneck, or Nicky’s Pizza in Larchmont is recommended!)

Elon Altman was the winner of Season 3 of New York’s Got Talent, Elon Altman is a stand up comedian born and raised in New York City. Elon is a Comedy Cellar regular, was a finalist in the 2021 Boston Comedy Festival, has been featured on AXS TV’s “Gotham Comedy Live,” was a contributing writer for the Comedy Central “Roast of Alec Baldwin,” and was runner up in NBC Universal’s “Cozi TV Comedy Search.” Elon has featured for Dennis Miller and Demetri Martin, and has headlined the world famous Carolines On Broadway multiple times, including as part of their Breakout Artist Comedy Series. He can be seen regularly at comedy clubs around NYC. Elon is also co-host of the podcasts “Billy Joel A to Z”.

Kunal C. Aurora (TruTV; FOX; SeeSo) – https://www.kunalarora.com/

Kunal C. Arora is a New York-based comedian with biting observational humor and sarcastic charm. When he isn’t performing across the U.S., you can find him hanging out in comedy clubs around New York City. He made his first national, non-court related TV appearance on Laughs on FOX in 2015. After making almost a dozen appearances on Laughs on Fox, he was seen on SeeSo’s New York’s Funniest. TruTV’s Late Night Snack and was a semi-finalist in NBC’s Standup for Diversity. Kunal made it to the final four of Caroline’s March Madness competition. His first full nationally televised comedy set for Gotham Comedy Live aired on AXS TV February 2017. In 2020, he released an album called Draw 4.
