Clay Virtual Kids Class: Giraffe Ring Dish (Ages 7+)

This fun dish will be created with long necked animals in mind. From Giraffes to Dinosaurs to made up creatures, we will be creating one of a kind dishes. The long skinny neck can be used to hold rings but does not have to be used in that way. The leaf dish is perfect to hold jewelry, candles, pocket change or a tea bag. Come ready to make both a sculpture of an animal as well as a leaf dish. Ceramic techniques such as slabs, coils and pinching with used to create these fun, functional, works of art.
This project would be completed using air dry clay and then will be painted with tempera or acrylic paint 48-72 hours after making.

A basic kit can be purchased through CAC Curbside Pick-Up service. Each kit includes 2lbs air dry clay, clay sponge, plastic fork and knife, and wooden needle tool. Priced per student.
