Learn how to use High Fire Nichrome Wire with CAC Instructor and past Resident Artist, Zoey B Scheler. Nichrome wire is a wonderful way to add additional elements to your ceramic work, from handles, to hanging mechanisms, to fun appendages that come out into space. It is a great way to introduce another material to both your functional and sculptural work. Nichrome wire can go into the kiln so there is no need for glue or figuring out how things will fit together post firing. The different gauges of wire, tools needed and timing for using wire will all be addressed. Come ready to create a pendent or small piece of jewelry during the workshop.
