Circle Collage from Urban Textures

In this workshop taught by former KinoSaito Artist in Residence, Capucine Bourcart, participants will create a unique collage using photographs of New York City walls. With circle punches in various sizes, participants are encouraged to discover beauty in the mundane and to transform traces of urban decay into something poetic.

Through this activity, participants will explore basic collage techniques, develop an eye for composition, and learn how to work with pre-existing imagery to construct something new.

Participants will take home a finished collage that transforms urban textures into a personal composition.
