Westchester Chordsmen | Winter Holiday Concert

Celebrate the Holiday Season with the Westchester Chordsmen – our county’s premiere (an only) Barbarshop Chorus. We’ll sing familiar songs and some new hits for the season!

This is an a cappella concert of seasonal holiday favorite songs by the entire Chorus and selected quartets.

The Westchester Chordsmen, Westchester’s premiere Barbershop Chorus, has been a staple of Westchester County for 65 years, performing throughout the Tri-State area. They have appeared at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, The White House, and have made numerous television and radio appearances. The Chordsmen is an active chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society and competes regularly, having brought home many awards.

The Chordsmen’s musical repertoire extends beyond its barbershop-style roots to Broadway show-tunes, doo-wop, traditional, gospel and contemporary songs arranged in four-part a cappella harmony for tenor, lead, baritone and bass singers.

Interested singers of any age are welcome any Monday night. Rehearsals occur every Monday night at Kol Ami Synagogue in White Plains. The Chordsmen’s 65 members come from Westchester and surrounding counties in New York, Connecticut, New York City, and Long Island.  For the rehearsal schedule and alternate locations, visit www.chordsmen.org.
