Chamber Music Virtual Open House

Learn about Hoff-Barthelson’s Chamber Music Program and Meet the Directors

Parents of prospective students and adult musicians are invited to join Chamber Music Program Director Donna Elaine, Piano Ensembles Coordinator Dr. Tomoko Uchino, Adult Chamber Music Coordinator Rie Matsumoto, Dean Chris Kenniff and Executive Director Ken Cole for a lively online introduction to the Hoff-Barthelson Music School’s Chamber Music Program on Thursday, May 5, 2022, at 8:00 pm, via Zoom.

Hoff-Barthelson’s Chamber Music Program offers small ensemble experience to intermediate and advanced instrumentalists and pianists in its K-12 and Adult Divisions. The program is open to students who will maintain the highest standard of dedication, commitment, and attendance.

In addition to regular coaching sessions, chamber music and piano ensemble students perform annually at the Holiday Music Festival (December) and Chamberfest (May) and are eligible to perform at student recitals throughout the year. Students may also elect to participate in audition-based Musical Festivals each spring and may be selected to perform for musicians from the New York Philharmonic during the Elaine Stamas Chamber Music Residency.

The Chamber Music program is open to all students, whether studying privately at HBMS or elsewhere.

The discussion is open to the public free of charge. To receive the Zoom link RSVP to https://bit.ly/3k8Kh15 or www.hbms.org. For additional information call 914-723-1169 or e-mail hb@hbms.org.
