At the age of 13 she made her concerto debut in Avignon with Beethoven`s Piano Concerto No 2.  Her 2005 Bach/Liszt recording was selected as Recording of the Month by Grammaphone Magazine; her 2008 recording of Liszt’s, Prokoviev’s and Shostakovich’s final concertos was similarly honored.  Between 1997 and 2004 Lise de la Salle won numerous competitions including First Prize in the 2004 Young Concert Artists International Auditions in New York.
