Celebrate The 60s Decade: Counting the Cost: America and the Vietnam War

|

International commitments made after World War II led the U.S. into conflict in Vietnam, but our country would not understand the full cost of the commitments–human, economic and political–until decades later.  Lecturer Durahn Taylor, BA and Ph.d., Columbia University, Assistant Professor of History at Pace University, will discuss how America’s “Vietnam era” shaped the course of the 1960s and set the stage for the world today.
