LawnChair Theatre and The Rye Arts Center present our second LCT benefit Cabaret, All I Want: Joni Mitchell’s Music! Of all the poet/songwriters of the last half-century, perhaps no-one has been a greater inspiration than Joni Mitchell. Leonard Cohen, one of the artists profiled last year, said of her, “There was a certain ferocity associated with her gift. She was like a storm.”
All I Want is a curated conversation of Joni’s music and lyrics, sung and spoken by some of LawnChair’s favorite performers, conceived by Artistic Director Peter Green. The show’s Musical Director is Keith Levenson, fresh from his stint as conductor of last summer’s national symphonic tour of Tommy, with The Who’s Roger Daltry.
