Breaking Down Animation: Sequence / Duration / Repetition and The Ways We See Images Move

Current KinoSaito artist in residence, Maya Perry, will be guiding students through a step by step process of traditional animation techniques that she uses regularly in her professional practice. Students will work directly on 35mm slides to create a sequence of images that transform into an expressive and painterly sequence of images once projected.
