BID Family Market Day and Summer Reading Kick-off: Fizz, Boom, Read! Science is Magic

Electrifying, fun-filled activities will get the summer reading rolling! This year’s party features crafts, science experiments and live performances by the amazing and amusing performers from the National Circus Project.  They’ll be putting on two shows of magic, gravity-defying stunts, and electrifying tricks on Library Green (or Ossie Davis Theater in the event of bad weather). Children in pre-K through Grade 5 will be able to register for the 2014 Summer Reading Game in the library lobby, check-out stacks of books, and start earning points for prizes. Free.
