Beat Refinery® DJ Camp – Winter Session

Beat Refinery® DJ Camp at Bach to Rock Scarsdale gives students an exciting, hands-on introduction to the world of DJing using real equipment and industry-leading software. Throughout the week, campers learn how to mix, scratch, and match beats with guidance from professional DJs, using tools such as Serato DJ Pro and Ableton Live. This camp is the perfect starting point for beginners and rising young DJs.

Students explore essential DJ skills, mixing, beat matching, scratching, cue points, looping, and transitions, while learning how song structure and rhythm work behind the turntables. Our certified instructors at Bach to Rock Scarsdale provide individualized coaching to help each student build confidence and creativity, no matter their starting skill level.

By the end of the week, every student creates a custom 2–3 minute DJ mix and performs it live, giving them a real taste of what it’s like to DJ on stage. Campers also receive beginner music theory for DJs, production basics, and insider tips for continuing their journey or eventually going pro.
