A documentary film by award-winning filmmaker Anton Evangelista on the life and work of internationally acclaimed poet Daniela Gioseffi. Daniela is an immigrant’s daughter whose survival of abuse by the KKK led to emblematic writings and an irrepressible voice against prejudice. Her voice and commitment to Eco-Feminism, Peace Activism, and Climate Crisis not only impacted the world around her, but was also deeply rooted in her proud Italian-American heritage. With the participation of Daniela Gioseffi and producer/director Anton Evangelista. A reception with the director will precede the screening at 6:30pm. Screening to start promptly at 7:00pm. Must register in advance and prepay. Members $25, Non- Members $30.
