Artist Opening Reception

The most conventional way to describe a 3d object is height, width, and depth, but these 3 dimensions only define the space the object occupies, in other words, the size of the box to put it in.  3 dimensions of Art : Structure, Movement, Grace presents the mind an opportunity to categorize and define artwork using different measures or dimensions, specifically structure, movement, and grace.

Three Hudson Valley artists, Carol Flaitz, Bob Madden and Karen Madden will be showing their dimensional artwork that embraces 3d forms with structure, movement and grace at the Live 4 Art Gallery in July. Each artist uses a different medium to express their ideas in 3 dimensions.

The show invites the viewer to step out of the box defined by height, width, & depth. Look beyond the physical characteristics to find the intangible and indescribable beauty of the creations.
