Artful Impact: Come, Look, Respond!

Look closely at a work of art new to the collection and share what you see…and what you don’t.

See connections among Nature, Health, and Climate Change by analyzing how the women in David Clyde Driskell’s Woman with Flowers, 1972 (on loan from Art Bridges) and John White Alexander’s Azalea (Portrait of Helen Abbe Howson), 1885 (Collection Hudson River Museum), relate to the blossoms that figure prominently in their personal space.

Christian, a native of Atlanta GA, received his undergraduate degree in History from Morehouse College and his MA in Museum Studies from the Cooperstown Graduate Program. Over the course of a year, Christian will lead an initiative to diversify and enhance the Museum’s collection, connecting the Museum to the community through outreach and programs.

Free with Museum admission. Purchase admission in advance here: http://www.hrm.org/information.html
