Art Workshop: Emotional Landscapes

Join artist Julianne Farella for a guided meditation and pastel painting lesson inspired by your emotions. Along the way, she will also discuss how themes of introspection shape her own work, including the painting, Soundless, on view in Neighboring Visions: Westchester Artists Then and Now. Fine-art materials will be provided; advance registration is recommended. Recommended for ages 12+.

Julianne Farella is a Westchester-based artist and elementary school art teacher who creates oil paintings inspired by meditations on nature. She has earned a BFA in Drawing and Painting, a BS in Art Education, and an MSEd in Art Education from SUNY New Paltz. Today, she teaches art in White Plains and serves on the Board of Directors of the Mamaroneck Artist Guild.

Support provided by Sarah Lawrence College and the Mellon Foundation.
