Arch 8: Rising Tide

Experience the world premiere of Rising Tide, a brand-new work from the innovative Dutch dance company Arch 8, commissioned by The PAC.

Rising Tide is a dynamic dance performance about our world right now. It examines rising temperatures, sea levels, and the extinction of animal species. Using poetry, play, partnering, and live music, the performers weave a world where we fall in love with nature, mourn its loss, and come to realize that our activism and engagement can turn the tide for the better.

Arch 8 is not your everyday dance company. With choreographer Erik Kaiel the company creates unorthodox, acrobatic dance for kids and grown-ups who can’t sit still, specializing in joyful and engaging interactive performances.
