Anna Rabinova, violin, & Svetlana Gorokhovich, piano

 This program of chamber music includes the Beethoven Sonata No. 7, Opus 30 #2 in C minor, Leopold Auer’s transcription of the Lensky Aria from Eugene Onegin of Tchaikovsky, plus the virtuosic La Campanella of Paganini. 

Anna Rabinova joined the New York Philharmonic in 1994. In the 2008-09 season she was a soloist with the Orchestra in Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 5, led by Lorin Maazel. Svetlana Gorokhovich is an internationally recognized pianist and prolific recording artist whose appearances include major concert halls in the United States, Europe and Asia.
