Anna Rabinova (violin) and Svetlana Gorokhovich (piano)

Violinist Anna Rabinova and pianist Svetlana Gorokhovich, collaborate on a program that features the oustanding musicianship of these great performers: Sonata No. 2 for Violin and Piano by Johannes Brahms; “Carmen” Concert Fantasy by Pablo de Sarasate; and contemporary composer  Lera Auerbach’s Sonata for Violin and Piano no. 2, “September 11.”

Anna Rabinova  joined the New York Philharmonic in 1994. In the 2008-09 season she was a soloist with the Orchestra in Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 5, led by Lorin Maazel. Svetlana Gorokhovich is an internationally recognized pianist and prolific recording artist whose appearances include major concert halls in the United States, Europe and Asia.
