Angelica Women’s Chamber Choir Presents: “To Drive the Cold Winter Away”
Angelica Women’s Chamber Choir, directed by Marie Caruso, presents a seasonal concert, “To Drive the Cold Winter Away,” in Hastings-on-Hudson on December 20th at 7:30 pm. The program features medieval and contemporary Yuletide selections, including 13th-century devotional songs from the Cortona Codex; settings of Ave Maria by Giulio Caccini and Franz Biebl; Miklós Kocsár’s Salve Regina; and Joan Szymko’s Nada te turbe. Joining Angelica are guest artists Kate Brittenham on harp and Matthew Stauffer on cello. Please join Angelica, a group hailed for its “perfect blend” and “beautiful, transcendent sound,” at this upcoming concert.
