An evening of Music with Marc Black


Marc Black solo performance at Oak Oil Gallery in Katonah!
Just back from a tour in New Mexico, Marc will perform at Oak & Oil with his treasured guitar, Claudette.
Saturday, December 4th starting at 8 pm.  
Seating is limited to 25 so RSVP is necessary.  
Admission is just $25.
His guitar influences include the finger style blues of Mississippi Hurt and Lightnin’ Hopkins while vocally you can hear his appreciation of Tim Hardin and Mose Allison.  Marc has produced 15 albums and his YouTube videos have been viewed more than a 100,000 times.  In the words of folk legend, Happy Traum, ‘Marc is a master at spreading the joy of music’. Inducted into the New York Chapter of the Blues Hall of Fame in June of 2014, Marc has performed and recorded with many luminaries including Art Garfunkel, Taj Mahal, and Pete Seeger.  While still in high school, his band, the Blades of Grass, reached the top 10 in more than half of the Country and toured with the biggest acts of the day including the Doors, Van Morrison and Neil Diamond.
