Actors Conservatory Theatre’s Something Rotten!

Actors Conservatory Theatre presents Something Rotten! on November 14, 15, 16, 20, 21, 22, 23

Get ready to laugh and tap your toe along to this lively and hilarious musical!

Something Rotten! tells the story of Nick and Nigel Bottom, brothers who run a theater troupe in the 1590’s and are trying desperately to outshine the era’s most popular playwright – William Shakespeare.  When a local fortune teller predicts the next big thing in theater involves singing, dancing and acting, the brothers write the first musical!  But things don’t go quite as planned… Something Rotten! was created by screenwriters Karey Kirkpatrick and John O’Farrell and Grammy Award-winning songwriter Wayne Kirkpatrick, and was nominated for 10 Tony Awards in 2015, including Best Musical.

Something Rotten! is presented under the direction of George Croom, musical direction of Stephen Ferri, and choreography of Janice Paganelli.  Featuring: Brian Beadle, Tom Beck, Annie Claffey, Mauro Contrastano, Olivia Dower, Patrick Early, Mariah Escobar, Steven Estrada, Michael Figueroa, Annie Fitz, Donna Fox-Bianco, Emilie Goodrich, Julia Hannon, Tyler Harding, Bria Hydrick, Richard Lauria, Anthony Malchar, Chris Manetakis, Tom KcKillop, Chris Nigro, Luis Quintero, Jr., Gianna Ray, Christina Rella, Jacob Ruiz, Lucy Ruiz, Neil Schleifer, Christopher Underhill, Michelle VanNess, Carlie Zucker

Founded in 1975, ACT is one of the oldest community theatre organizations in Westchester. ACT has presented over 139 mainstage productions, including classic and lesser-known musicals, comedies, and dramas. Each year, ACT’s Junior Troupe provides students in grades 5 through 12 the opportunity to perform in a musical production. ACT dedicates its full attention to these shows with our experienced creative team, including director, choreographer, musicians, designers and technicians. We welcome all children at no tuition cost to them or their families. ACT has also conducted numerous acting workshops for children, beginner actors and experienced performers. Many, in part thanks to ACT, have gone on to successful careers in TV, film and theater.
