“A Year of Sound and Stories” Traveling Exhibit

Tune-in to New Rochelle’s proud past and meet the people who shaped our city by hearing their stories. Just step-up to the kiosk under the “Listening Matters” banner and click on the archival images, and you’ll become quickly absorbed in the personal stories tracing the many tides of immigration to New Rochelle.  NRPL is one of five organizations to host the digital exhibit featuring rarely heard audio stories, including several from the library’s oral history collection.  The audio anthology,   New Rochelle: Diverse Voices, One Community will also be the inspiration for the “Listening Matters” Community Conversation on May 20th
