A reading with Deborah Paredez, BK Fischer, and Lynn Schmeidler


Come celebrate the release of BK Fischer’s verse novella, Radioapocrypha, touted by the LA Review of books as, “one of the more necessary poetry collections for 2018.”
B.K. Fischer is the author of St. Rage’s Vault, winner of the 2012 Washington Prize, Mutiny Gallery, winner of the 2011 T. S. Eliot Prize, and Museum Mediations, a critical study. She teaches at Columbia University, and she is a poetry editor at Boston Review. http://www.bkfischer.com
Deborah Paredez received a PhD from Northwestern University. She is the author of the poetry collection This Side of Skin (Wings Press, 2002). Paredez is a cofounder and codirector of CantoMundo, a national organization supporting Latinx poets and poetry. She teaches at Columbia University and lives in New York City.

Lynn Schmeidler is a poet and fiction writer. Her first chapbook, Curiouser & Curiouser, won the 2013 Grayson Books Chapbook Contest. Her second chapbook, Wrack Lines (Grayson Books), was a finalist for both The Jessie Bryce Niles Chapbook Contest and the Two Sylvias Press Chapbook Prize. Lynn lives in Westchester where she writes and teaches. History of Gone is her first book.
