9:00 am - 4:00 pm
Develop your portrait photography skills and expand your portfolio in one of the Hudson Valley’s most inspiring settings. Participants will have a rare opportunity to explore the grounds of the Kykuit Estate with their cameras, guided and critiqued by photographer, Todd Shapera.
The workshop, in two full-day sessions, explores portrait photography on the inspiring grounds of Kykuit – incorporating the site’s historic architecture, sculpture, gardens and landscape to inspire and enhance the visual opportunities for portraiture. Global photojournalist Todd Shapera helps participants with optimal camera settings, use of light and shadow, and incorporating the site’s aesthetics to help participants create compelling compositions.
