A Night of Chic-Cycling: A Fashion Show

GALLERY NITE OUT presents A Night of Chic-Cycling: A Fashion Show hosted by Andrew Yu

Andrew Yu and The Community Center of Northern Westchester are working together to raise awareness around issues central to their respective missions such as waste reduction and making connections across media & culture. This special evening, hosted at ArtsWestchester, will feature the 10 talented winners who competed in the Upcycling Fashion Show at Katonah Art Museum in May. They have been tasked with designing runway-ready outfits made with recycled materials or torn or damaged clothing. Local designer Andrew Yu is mentoring all the designers; helping them fine-tune their designs and create show-stopping works of wearable art.

Fashion is the universal language across culture, gender, race, and economic diversity. We hope you can join us to celebrate the night of art in fashion! Light refreshments will be provided.

This special night at @artswestchester – part of its Gallery Nite Out series (#GalleryNiteOut) – is hosted by local designer Andrew Yu @49AndrewYu, who was recently featured in WWD Cover, New York Times and Sunday Styles, along with co-hosts Melissa Tomlin of @914PopUps and Nicole Steinthal of @nslifestyleblog.
