Celebrate the Holiday Season with acclaimed keyboardists, Anthony Newman and Mary Jane Newman, with a program of piano duet that features select preludes and fugues of J.S. Bach and sonatas of W.A. Mozart arranged for two pianos.
Labeled the “High Priest of Bach” by Wynton Marsalis, Anthony Newman is considered by many to be America’s leading Bach specialist. His wife, Sanctuary Series Artistic Director, Mary Jane Newman, herself an acclaimed pianist and organist, made her New York debut in 1986 in Lincoln Center’s “Great Performers” series at Alice Tully Hall. Since then, she has appeared as soloist and conductor with orchestras, chamber ensembles and vocal groups throughout Europe, the U.S. and Israel.
