7th Annual Children’s Benefit Concert


The Church of St. James the Less with Scarsdale Strings Cares, in collaboration with Westchester Reform Temple, present their 7th Annual Children’s Benefit Concert. Works include Rossini’s William Tell Overture, Ager’s piano concerto (world premiere), synagogue favorites with audience participation, patriotic songs sung and played by the children and Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 5. Concert takes place at the Performing Arts Center at Purchase College in the Recital Hall.

100% of ticket sales will go to send as many children as possible from the WJCS Amazing Afternoons Program of the Edward Williams School to CAS Wagon Road Camp in the summer of 2014; and to Scarsdale Strings Cares to create seed music programs in fiscally challenged schools in the Westchester / NYC area.
