650 | Where Writers Read • “The Kids Are Alright”
Parenting is hard but so is being a kid. In “The Kids Are Alright,” a live literary event on the stage of the Ossie Davis Theater, a dozen regional writers—limited to five minutes and just 650 words—will tackle rites of passage such as PTA meetings, ER visits, sibling rivalries, braces, bullies, the birds and bees, puppy love, tough love, driving tests, empty nests, and more. Produced by the acclaimed 650, the program is made possible by the New Rochelle Council on the Arts, the Friends of the Library, and suggested donations of $5.00 or more.
