650 | Where Writers Read • “High School”
High School…A return to your fondest—or most harrowing—memories, with personal stories about marching band or mean girls, bus rides or best friends, homeroom or home grown. Whether recalling the cafeteria, the pop quiz, the field trip, the school play, or the twenty year reunion—the featured writers will relive those wonderful and awful days, from algebra to zits, in five-minute spoken word essays of 650 words. Produced by the acclaimed 650, the program is made possible by the New Rochelle Council on the Arts, the Friends of the Library, and suggested minimum donations of $10.00. Visit Read650.com for additional information and upcoming submission topics. Reception will follow.
