3 Exhibits 6 Artists- Works by Linda Puiatti & Rich Alexander
3 Exhibits 6 Artists
Visit Oak&Oil Gallery to enjoy the second exhibit of a series of three! April 20th to May 20th.
Linda Puiatti is a landscape painter living and working in NY State. She is inspired by nature, open spaces, meadows and seascapes. No matter the subject, the play of light and shadow and how it changes our daily landscape, it’s a constant in her work and continues to be Puiatti’s muse.
Her fine art education includes the Art Students’ League in NYC and later, the Stedlijk Akademie van Schoonekunst in Deinze, Belgium, where she studied with Belgian painter JeanMarie Bijtbier. Puiatti spent ten years in Europe studying painting at the Deinze Akademie. Back in the States, she opened two art galleries before returning to painting full-time.
Rich Alexander studied and worked as a Graphic Designer, but fine arts has always been his real calling! Rich’s journey with fine art started while designing the September 11th Firefighter Memorial in Mt. Kisco, NY, there he met illustrator Alan Reingold who took notice of his talent and encouraged him to pursue fine art full time; Rich began by studying pencil drawing, later he sought to explore color through oil painting, he fell in love with the medium and never stopped painting. Rich has had numerous solo and group shows, including the prestigious Salmagundi Club in NYC.
We are honored to showcase the works of these two very talented and accomplished artists, we look forward to seeing you at Oak&Oil Gallery!
