2014 Filmmaking Festival & Conference


The Filmmaking Conference features a myriad of events geared toward current Sarah Lawrence students, the alumni community, and the broader filmmaking community in the surrounding metropolitan area. Panels will include Documentaries and Young Alumni Acting in Film.

6:30 p.m.: Screening of feature film “TWO: The Story of Roman and Nyro” directed by Heather Winters ’84

6:30 p.m.: Screening of feature film “Red Monsoon” directed by Eelum Dixit ’09

Saturday, April 12:


“The Filmmaking Industry Today” moderated by Heather Winters ’84

“Recent Alums: Breaking In” moderated by Brian Emery ’07

“The Art of Documentary Filmmaking” moderated by Kate Hearst

Closing Night Screening of “Elusive,” the webseries made in Doug MacHugh’s and Fred Strype’s Webseries class.
