A penny for your thoughts about WHAT MATTERS!

Performance Art/Street Interviews

Have you seen the What Matters mural in Peekskill, New York?  The best viewing spot is 1045 Park Street, next to C-Town.
This mural was conceived by Lana Yu, who guided 88 people ages 4 to 80+ to create it. The phrases on the mural are a selection of responses from hundreds of people from
diverse backgrounds and ages.

Now, you can see the mural and experience a special live event and it’s FREE!

Interviews will be held front of the What Matters mural. Street interviewers will ask everyday folks to share their views of “what matters” giving voice to a diversity of people. A record of responses to be reflected back to the public in a Youtube video will invite further inquiry.

Performance artist, Marcy B. Freedman will present a one-on-one, face-to-face interactive performance in front of the What Matters mural.
