Clay Art Center – Port Chester: Melting Pot(s) Exhibition and Tasting Feast

In partnership with artist Michael Strand Clay Art Center has designed an arts initiative to unite the diverse communities of Port Chester. Through free hands-on “el-bowl” workshops over 1,000 Port Chester residents will share creativity, stories of heritage, and cultural recipes. These small, highly personalized vessels capture the unique elbow and hand print of each creator.

CAC will feature an exhibition of the work September 26 – November 7 of 2015.
Join our Community Tasting Tour on November 7th from 4-6pm when our cooks will be offering their community inspired recipes up to your taste buds here at the Gallery at Clay Art Center. We invite you to take an el-bowl out of the gallery, tour our studios, taste the unique and inspiring recipes of Port Chester and add your flavor to the pot!
