PAINTERS ON LOCATION, Plein Air Paint Out & Auction
On Saturday, October 3, 2015, more than forty professional artists will paint the town, parks, beaches, landmarks, buildings, landscapes, and scenic beauty of Rye and its surrounding areas in a one day plein-air paint-out.
A reception to view the wet works will take place on October 3, 4:30 – 6:00 pm, with a live art auction starting at 6:15 pm in the Performing Arts Room at The Rye Arts Center.
Painters on Location is free and open to the public.
Additional works by the artists will be on display in the Gallery Monday, September 21 – Saturday, October 3. These works will be available for purchase through a silent auction.
