Bye Bye Birdie: Young Performers Edition

|

BYE BYE BIRDIE is a satire that tells the story of a rock and roll singer, Conrad Birdie, who is about to be inducted into the army.Albert Peterson, his agent, and Albert’s faithful secretary Rose Alvarez, concoct one final national publicity plan before Conrad’s induction. Conrad will bid a typical American teen-age girl goodbye with an all-American kiss.

BYE BYE BIRDIE is a satire crafted with the fondest affection. It gives an insight into the everyday life that is very much part of us all. It is the tops in imagination and frivolity; a show that will be enjoyed by the cast as much as the audience. This show is good old-fashioned fun.

This WPPAC Summer Theatre Academy production is performed by actors in 5th through 12th grades. Our program is both artistic and educational, holding our students to high standards while providing them with the tools necessary to meet those standards.
